TSR has delivered immersive training simulators and experience centers for U.S. government and military clients. From concept through deployment, TSR engineers realistic, technology-driven simulations and recruiting environments that replicate real-world scenarios and mission conditions. These projects often involve rapid development timelines, complex systems integration, and nationwide deployment or touring support. TSR manages the entire process, delivering solutions that enhance training, readiness, and public engagement for government partners.

TSR partnered with the United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM) and the U.S. Army Software Engineering Directorate (SED) to address a critical safety requirement following a series of rollover accidents involving up-armored tactical vehicles deployed in combat environments. Working closely with government stakeholders, TSR engineered a transportable rollover training simulator that accurately replicated the dynamics and hazards of armored vehicle rollover events. TSR managed the complete project lifecycle, including concept development, engineering design, fabrication, systems integration, testing, and field deployment. From concept to operational deployment, TSR delivered the first production-ready simulator in just 15 months, providing the military with a realistic, repeatable training capability that enhanced crew survivability and emergency egress preparedness. Following the successful deployment of the initial system, TSR continued to refine, manufacture, and deliver additional trainers to military installations nationwide over a six-year period. The program demonstrated TSR’s ability to rapidly develop innovative training systems, execute complex engineering projects, and deliver mission-critical solutions that improve operational readiness and help protect America’s warfighters.

U.S. Tour

TSR partnered with Ignited USA and the U.S. Army to design, produce, and deploy the Virtual Army Experience, a large-scale interactive touring attraction featuring immersive HMMWV, Black Hawk, and Apache helicopter simulations that allowed visitors to experience realistic Army mission scenarios. Participants received a mission briefing before entering the experience and a comprehensive after-action review upon completion, allowing them to evaluate their performance against other participants. Designed for maximum flexibility, the attraction could be scaled to accommodate a wide range of venues and audience sizes. TSR provided complete turnkey execution, including creative and technical design, fabrication, technology integration, installation, logistics, and touring support. Over a two-year period, the Virtual Army Experience toured more than 40 states, demonstrating TSR’s ability to deliver complex, technology-driven experiential programs on a national scale. The project highlighted TSR’s expertise in immersive simulation, interactive technologies, and mobile experiential environments while supporting the Army’s recruitment, outreach, and public engagement objectives.

The Scenic Route (TSR), in partnership with Ignited USA and the U.S. Army Software Engineering Directorate (SED), designed, engineered, fabricated, and integrated a state-of-the-art experiential recruiting center in Philadelphia. The project transformed a commercial retail space into an immersive, technology-driven environment introducing prospective recruits to Army careers, capabilities, and mission readiness. A centerpiece of the facility was a suite of full-scale helicopter and HMMWV simulators featuring authentic vehicle controls, high-definition projection systems, and interactive weapons integrated with real-time laser tracking and after-action review software. These systems delivered realistic mission scenarios while providing immediate performance feedback that mirrored military training environments. TSR also developed and integrated interactive career exploration kiosks, geographic assignment displays, technology-enabled classrooms, and a gaming center featuring more than 50 gaming consoles. The company provided complete turnkey delivery, including technical design, engineering, fabrication, audiovisual and software integration, installation, testing, commissioning, and construction of both public-facing and back-of-house spaces. The project demonstrated TSR’s expertise in delivering complex, technology-rich environments that combine immersive simulation, interactive media, and integrated facility systems to support military recruitment, public engagement, and workforce development.

On behalf of the Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration Directorate (S3I) at Redstone Arsenal — operating under the U.S. Army DEVCOM Aviation & Missile Center — TSR designed, engineered, and fabricated a non-ballistic demo unit and field trainer for the XM25 grenade launcher. The unit was required to be physically and functionally identical to the prototype weapon in development, matching all proportions and weight exactly. TSR utilized digital scanning, 3D modeling, 3D printing, casting, and molding, integrating electrical, mechanical, and electronic components to produce a replica capable of accommodating mechanical effects, an optical display, and live game engine connectivity for training and demonstration purposes.
